Cynthia

From Emotional Eating and Restriction to Control Around Food + Stronger Than Ever

Cynthia came to GSS stuck in the all-or-nothing cycle. She was struggling with extremes, chasing quick fixes, and unable to stay consistent. She was under-eating at ~1600 calories a day, fearing more food would ruin her progress.

The Strategy: With the Goal Strong Method, we focused first on foundational habits, mindset work, and reverse dieting to boost metabolism and prepare the body for fat loss. We shifted the focus from “clean eating” and dieting to helping her fuel her body properly, building muscle, gaining control around food and finding balance in her mindset and lifestyle. The focus has always been building muscle and body recomposition through fat loss for her physical transformation. Today, Cynthia can maintain her results around 2200 calories per day, feeling stronger, more confident, and more empowered than ever.

Her breakthrough:

Learning how to stay consistent by finding a sustainable approach and redefining balance and living a fit lifestyle she loves. Cynthia loves the lifestyle she has created for herself.

ASHLEY

From Food Fear to Strength, Confidence, and Self-Love

Ashley came to GSS feeling stuck, under-eating at just 1300 calories a day and trapped in a cycle of guilt around food. She wanted to enjoy things like ice cream with her kids without shame, build a healthy relationship with food, and, most importantly, learn how to truly love herself.

The Strategy: Through the Goal Strong Method, we focused on foundational habits, mindset work, reverse dieting, and strategic training. Ashley gradually increased her intake and maintained her fat loss results at around 2000 calories per day. Ashley was able to lose body fat eating hundreds of calories more than when she joined GSS. This is the magic of a reverse diet: fueling the body to thrive, build muscle, and support long-term fat loss (without fear).

Ashley’s journey wasn’t without challenges. Partway through, she received a life-changing diagnosis that forced her to adapt, recalibrate, and stay committed in a whole new way.

Ashley went through both building and dieting phases, dropping from 151 lbs to about 141 lbs. But here’s the key: her transformation was far bigger than the scale. Through significant body recomposition — more muscle, less body fat — Ashley became proof that success isn’t just about weight loss. It’s about strength, confidence, and learning to love yourself through the process.

Her breakthrough

realizing that food isn’t the enemy. She learned that her body needs fuel to thrive, to build muscle, and to create sustainable results. Ashley healed her relationship with food by understanding how food impacts her ability to achieve her goals. She now fuels her body for optimal health, her goals and quality of life.

ENTREPRENEUR | PERSONAL TRAINER

MADISON

From “More is Better” and People Pleasing to Balanced and Unapologetically Consistent

Madison came to GSS as a fitness coach herself. She was working out 6–7 days a week, under-eating, and running on fumes. She had no real structure around food and believed that more was always better. But what she truly needed was to slow down, embrace rest, and realize that less is more when it’s done with intention.

The Strategy: Through the Goal Strong Method, we brought in structure, balance, and strategy. Madison learned to train smarter, fuel her body properly, and recover fully. She stopped chasing exhaustion and started chasing optimization: boosting her metabolism, building muscle, and finally seeing the progress she was working so hard for.

Madison has built a sustainable lifestyle that honors her body, supports her goals, and proves that rest, strategy, and boundaries are the true keys to long-term success.

The left photo depicts her with a larger body with more visible cellulite and a pink swimsuit, while the right shows her with a more toned and sculpted body, wearing a purple sports bra and red striped underwear.

Her breakthrough

Setting boundaries with others and learning to quiet the noise of what people think. She built the confidence to make her own decisions without fear about what others think. Overcoming her people-pleasing tendencies and fear of judgement allowed her to become her most confident and goal-strong self. Consistency became possible when she stopped living for others and started focusing on what made her feel strong, confident, and fulfilled.

MIKAYLA

From All-or-Nothing Extremes to a Balanced, Strong, and Sustainable Lifestyle

Mikayla is a shift-worker and nurse who came to GSS stuck in the classic all-or-nothing cycle. Mikayla would go all in, burn out, quit, and then repeat the extremes all over again. She wanted real results but had no idea how to make them stick. The key to her transformation was creating the right lifestyle and approach.

The Strategy: Through the Goal Strong Method, Mikayla experienced one of the most incredible body recompositions we’ve seen — and it happened during her reverse diet. By increasing her calories and creating structure around her training and nutrition, she not only lost weight but built consistency, strength, and confidence like never before.

Her breakthrough

Letting go of the extremes/all-or nothing mindset and finding a balanced approach she could maintain long-term. Mikayla now has a rock-solid Goal Strong mindset, and she’s proof that you don’t need extremes to transform your body — you need strategy, consistency, and a commitment to fuelling your goals.

RACHAEL

From Weekend Sabotage to Sustainable Progress + Gym Confidence

Rachael came to GSS frustrated with a pattern she couldn’t shake: crushing it Monday to Friday, then falling off track every weekend. She wanted real, sustainable progress, not just another cycle of “start over Monday.”

At first, Rachael was working out at home, but she recognized that to push her progress, she needed to challenge herself. Although she was nervous, she made the leap to the gym, and the confidence she gained from that alone was huge.

The Strategy: Through the Goal Strong Method, we built a balanced approach that worked for her life. We increased her intake from around 1900 to 2200 calories per day to support muscle growth and true body recomposition. While the scale stayed roughly the same, her body transformed: more muscle, less body fat, and a dramatically stronger, more empowered version of herself.

Importantly, Rachael never went through a fat loss phase. The key to her transformation was building muscle, improving body composition, and getting consistent with her nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle

Her breakthrough

Learning to navigate weekends with intention. Rachael focused on what was in her control, adjusting her schedule, prioritizing key habits, and carrying those habits into her weekends. That shift didn’t just change her body; it gave her the consistency and confidence she’d been missing for years.
